Anyone else noticing extremely slow speeds tonight.

Late night early morning speeds are great. The other 18 hours of the day, speeds are terrible. Am I the only one experiencing this problem?

Ive ran speed test during peak hours over the past few days and it seems like theres a cap at 6mbps/1mbps burstable. I feel comcast coming... :(

I usually get 9+ Mbps/ 1 Mbps at non-busy times (late night / early morning) but right now I'm only getting 7/1 Mbps !!

Don't know if this is short term exception or new caps! Haven't checked it much lately . I'm in Raritan Twp./Ringoes area.

As a retired network admin at a high school, I suspect that kids playing games can eat up a ton of capacity, even on cable.

I'm home during the day and can tell you that the speed is slow when the kids are in school (3000 kb/s).

Tonight (Saturday), I've done several speedtests, with 5 different sites (»www.speedtest.net/), and have been averaging over 10,000 kb/s.

Go figure.
