i posted this previously, with no replies.

Atlantic BB advice please

I'm in South Carolina, and bellsouth has yanked my chain for the last time.
i have Atlantic BB as my cable provider here, and they offer both a 6mb and a 8mb package.
BUT, I'm seeing some horror stories here about ABB throttling
bittorrent, etc.
can anyone in s.carolina tell me whether your having this kind of problem?
what about their newsgroups? are they any good, and do they get throttled?
although I've had it with BS dsl, i don't want to jump from the frying pan into the fire, switching to ABB.

please give me advice on ABB.
