Trouble setting up DD-WRT
Just got Elite DSL live today and trying to set up the DSL modem and WRT54GL so the WRT handles PPPOE. Set the second option in the modem setup so the computer or router handles the PPPOE chores. Set the WRT to PPPOE and fed in my username and password. Won't connect. Have never had to set up DD-WRT for anything other than straight dynamic. Anybody could post a small screen shot of your successful PPPOE setup? (Username and pass blotted out.) And do I actually need the third option in the Motorola 2210? Can connect to it directly and see the connection is logged in and in fine shape. Tried speedtest.net and a speed test here, and I'm getting over 5 mbits. As soon as I get this problem solved, I can take Charter's equipment back to them and tell them to take a hike.

Re: Trouble setting up DD-WRT
You'll have to set the 2210 to operate in "bridged" mode; it's in the configuration page of the 2210, not sure of the exact name. After you do that, connect the router and it should connect with your username and password.
