Just curious to find out if there are any "better" modems out there since it's been 7ish years since I got this one :D

Don't need wifi (too many wifi thieves around here) just the ability to connect 3 computers.

Currently I have an ethernet (brand) en104tp hub inline and think a router would actually be better (haven't bothered to check and the hub was a freebie).
