Yeah, between that server and my box (Athlon x2 4200 2.2@3.2Ghz/8GB/GTX260 SSC) it gets pretty warm under my desk.

yeah, it annoys my wife a little, but I'm used to it from being around them all day at work, and it helps keep her out of the office :-)

hehe Cute.
I got myself a Dell T410, its really nice, makes no noise (well if room gets hot you can hear the fan a tiny bit but nothing compared to my desktop)
still has dual quad core, 8 gigs of ram and 6 drives. but its a pedestal server designed for office and not a server room so they made it quiet.
