when are we going to get ABC and FOX in HD in Princeton, WV?
I don't understand why areas in WV has FOX in HD, but we can't get it here in the Princeton area. I switched from DISH a year ago because Suddenlink had CBS in HD and I thought we would soon have all networks in HD. In that year they have only added one HD channel which was NBC. I guess I might have to buy antenna
to get FOX in HD.

beckley/bluefield will get hd locals on dish and directv sometime in september. So if you want hd locals go to satellite.

WOAY is about to go HD in the Princeton area...I think. It was scheduled to have already gone live, but the was a problem with equipment at the broadcaster that had to be sorted out. Should be live pretty quick

I verified that WOAY was supposed to go HD at the end of August but broadcaster had issues with equipment, so it was pushed back. It should launch by the middle to end of September. Still looking into FOX HD. Will report back when I get more info.

suddenlink will be on the ball here because directv and dish network are going to launch bluefield/beckley locals sometime this month.

Appears that DTV has it even more on the ball with their 100+ HD channels, and now.....those elusive Local HDs on the 23rd. :o

I have seen their hd lineup and I am very impressed. Sure there are a few bad channels but in the end you are getting about 100 more hd channels that what Suddenlink offers that is likely cheaper.
If you are in Suddenlink territory and want high definition you should pick either Dish, Directv or Fios. That is the primary reason I am with Dish.
