Many connections crash Tomato router
I have a WRT54GL Linksys router that I flashed with latest firmware. It was running solid for about 2 months, but after our last vacation (it was left on with computer connected and left on) it has been acting up. Any time more than 30-40 connections burst through it (torrents or even opening Firefox with around 20 tabs) the router starts acting up (the internet becomes extremely slow and stays that way until you keep hitting Drop Idle for a few minutes, than it speeds up a little more, but is still relatively slow). The only thing that completely fixes it is a hard reset, but it seems to happen again (only torrents, Firefox doesn't hurt it until after torrents). What could the problem be. Last time I didn't touch any settings beside securing WiFi and changing the admin password. I've tried changing QoS and TCP Timeout settings, but nothing seems to help. I'm almost ready to go back to the default firmware.
Also, there's no problem when connected directly to the modem, just going through the router.
