VPN on LINUX?

Can anyone please suggest an easy way to setup a vpn on a linux machine. I am in Canada and want to use my dedicated linux server in the states so that it looks like I am using that ip address instead of my own. There are some good sites I want to visit but not allowed cause I am using a Canadian IP..

So any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Thanks!
