Cannot config my Westell 7500 and my Linksys WRTG

Good afternoon-
I am attempting to configure my DSL service. I am able to connect my pc wirelessly to the Westell 7500, but I also have a Linksys WRTG. I basically want to have the 7500 as a secure point of access and allow the WRTG to be accessed as well. I have a business and want customers to be able to have wifi via the Linksys. I want the Westell to be our business/secure access. I don't want to broadcast the Linksys as open, but have the WEP available if asked. Is this possible? I tried changing the Linksys to 192.68.2.1, but it didn't have any affect. Are there any other solutions?

You would do better to make that 192.168.2.1. Perhaps that's what you meant.

After that change to the linksys, you need to restart the linksys. Then check your client computer (the one connected to the linksys LAN). It should be getting an IP of 192.168.2.something.
Are there any other solutions?
The alternative is to set your 7500 as an unrouted bridge. If your ISP uses PPPoE, you would have to configure the linksys for the PPPoE.

I suggest you first try again with changing the linksys LAN IP.

Re: Cannot config my Westell 7500 and my Linksys WRTG

I was finally able to get them to "co-exist"! I changed the address again ( to 192.168.2.1 ) and reset everything. It took about 4 tries, but I am able to use either wireless access point. Thank you again for your help nwrickert!
