Called customer service, they ran a line check...yup..not getting a good signal...they called maintenance...maintenance called me, they ran a line check and it looks fine! GOOD GRIEF!!! Why don't they do a line check for more than 30 seconds?

their tech support really really sucks. you have to call 40 times before you are noticed.

They are a frustrating company to deal with. First you get a 'tech' in Bombay who goes through the whole 'unplug the modem' and we're 'testing the line' deal. That's just a lie. Then you have to call for the next three months and raise holy hell before you get a real case number. They're too big for their own good. All they want to do is sign you up for their crappy TV service. Go to that forum and see how many people are happy over there, see for yourself.

Oh I know how bad they are...SNET was bad, SBC was bad and when they changed to AT&T they are bad...same crappy shit, different company name. This line problem has been going on for 9 years. We have no cable on our street or I would have switched to them along time ago. My only other option is satellite DSL, but that is realllly expensive. And the "tech" i got yesterday was from Arkansas!

I was just thinking, lol, SNET used to be famous for uninstall and reinstall the software....didnt fix it? oops, theres a line down, sorry.
