Signal recording bash script.

I have been making a bash script that will connect to the modem and download the upstream/downstream info and dump it to a file. Right now its pretty simple design but i would love some input on how to make it more usable.

#!/bin/bash#Modem LOG Homecd /tmpwget http://192.168.100.1/CmDnstream.asp --http-user user --http-password user &> /dev/nulldatecat CmDnstream.asp | grep -o '.*dB' -a | cut -c70-150wget http://192.168.100.1/CmUpstream.asp --http-user user --http-password user &> /dev/nullcat CmUpstream.asp | grep -o '.*dB' -a | cut -c68-150rm Cm*.asp
Then it outputs this

Wed Sep 16 16:31:27 CDT 2009 Receive Power Level : </font></td><td>-3.1 dB SNR : </font></td><td>36.8 dB transmit Power Level : </font></td><td>50.2 dB
So any input on this, any improvements?
