Outages in CT?

Over the past week I've been experiencing major outage problems. Pretty much up and down... I'm in central CT, just south of Middletown. I've got DSL and a landline. Phone has been fine as best I can tell, but data at home as been very aggravating.

I would say it drops every 15-20 minutes sometimes for 10 or 15 minutes at a time. Happens throughout the day, all day, all night...

Re: Outages in CT?

Ours has been coming and going all morning here in Glastonbury. Was out when we got here yesterday too but then was on all day. Hoping it stays now.

Re: Outages in CT?

When I was testing a 2 wire modem, the connection has dropped every 15 minutes or so. It did this 4 times. The culprit was the modem failing to hold sync. I went back to my usual modem, and it works as expected, with no problems. Could it be an issue with the 2 wire modems?

Re: Outages in CT?

looks like a possible bad firmware push, since after this started happening I was unable to DHCP nor access gateway.2wire.com web interfaces. Trying to reach a 2wire tech to figure it out...
