E-mail already used, but s/n has not?

I'm trying to register as a user with my usual nick, TeeJay3800. It says that username is available, but when I attempt to complete the registration, I get a message telling me my e-mail has already been used to register an account. That can't be true, since I've never created a DSLR account, and have never received an e-mail from DSLR. Where can I go from here?

You can log in by email address on this page: »/login

I just had the site send an email to the address on that account, which should allow you to log in to it.

As ridiculous as this may sound, there may be a simple "typo" involved. Also, check your mail filters/settings... your system may be throwing out e-mails from the site as "junk".
