[HSI] Problem with VPN after PowerBoost
Maybe it's just coincidence, but the day that my PowerBoost was activated I started having trouble with the VPN connection to my office which prevents some applications from running properly due to what looks connectivity/connection quality/latency problems.
Does anyone know if/how Powerboost may have caused this, or just coincidence ?

I'm also noticing some oddities. I have their 20Mbit service. I'm upgrading my Linux box -- which the system estimated to take 3 hours... but I appear to be throttled to between 7kbps (yes -- 7) and 20Kbps. My guess is that this is a secondary purpose: give you a speed boost for your Yahoo home page download, and throttle any larger downloads. Just a guess, mind.
After noticing this, I called Charter tonight to ask how I can get rid of speedboost, now that I made the mistake of accepting it. I was told... "well, you can't." So either I had to accept it or -- at some point -- I'd have to cycle the modem and...accept it. Great benefit.

Yah, it's published that PowerBoost only boosts the first few megabytes of the download, then it drops back to your normal rate.
