Super Sports Pack --- Fail

Does everyother service provider screw up as much as Cogeco does with their Super Sports Pack??

Not only does Cogeco consistantly screw-up a hockey feed (on an almost nightly basis), but today the entire 4pm & 4:15pm NFL games on their Super Sports Package arn't working!!!
This is how they treat their customers with the most expensive programming package?? Ridiculous!!!

I know forsure that Expressvu doesn't have these issues.
Cogeco should be asshamed of themselves!!!

Forgot to add... the guide in the receiver is a joke too.

Not only did the 4pm & 4:15pm games not work for the first quarter of ALL those games, but the guide is rearly right.

Case in point the Saints/Miami game is listed on 443 on the channel that shows the Sports Lineup.
If you look for it in the guide, channel 443 doesn't exist...and to top it all off, If you search for the Saints/Miami in the guide it doesn't show up at all.

These screw ups cause havoc with my DVR programming.
I will be asking for a credit to my account...and untill these problems get resolved I'll be demanding more credit each time!!

I had some problems with Leafs TV, but forgot to call in. Other users on this forum from other providers had the HD channel going fine, but the HD channel on Cogeco only showed Cogeco ads, instead of the game.

Seems sports isn't their strongest side.

I've had the Super Sports Pack since 2006 and these problems have existed since day 1. I've complained and complained and complained. They either blatantly lie and say they are working on it or blame it on some third party who supposedly provides the service for them. I don't really care who is providing the service to Cogeco because I don't pay them $200 every month. It wasn't bad for a while when they updated a pdf of their website everyday that had the correct schedule .... but then gradually they started screwing that up too and ended up just taking it right down.

I'd love to go somewhere else but there aren't even remotely reasonable options. For $360 a year you get every single sports package, even though the NCAA FB and BB are lite compared to US services. You wouldn't even get 2 sports packages (say NFL and NHL) on Bell for that price. If Bell or Shaw ever pulled their heads out of the butts I'd be gone in a second.

Agree 100% mt99808.
Rogers & Cogeco have the best Sports Pack available (every sport for $30) can't be beat.

I'm going to keep a close eye on this, and everytime they screw up I'm gonna let them know and get a refund.

I too was surprised at how shoddy it is. I watched a few games during the NHL Centre Ice free preview and one game had picture freezing for several seconds at a time, and the other didn't start until halfway through the 2nd period. I wouldn't buy based on that.

There were nba games on both Friday and Saturday night that had a frozen channel when the game should have been on.
