DSL -Xtreme

I have the setup below for my DSL with static IP. Can I get a service from DSL extreme for 6M (adsl2+) with static IP? If I can how much? How much for 3M/512 with static IP?

How long can I get a service before I cancel my service with AT&T?. I called AT&T and they told me the cancellation will take 3 days so I am concerned on the downtime. How soon can DSL-Extreme activate my line after the cancellation has been ordered?

I know AT&T will not give away their circuit easily.

I used to have 6M/768 (elite) and down-grade 1 week ago.

Re: DSL -Xtreme

Hi teekblang -

Have you run a pre-qualification test on our website to see what packages you qualify for? You can do that by going to »www.dslextreme.com/dsl and entering in your address and phone number.

The package that you referred to in the post above is our 3000-6000/512-768 tier. That package is actually a standard ADSL package. If you qualify for that tier you can do what is referred to as an Easy ISP Switch. Doing that limits your downtime when switching providers. Most clients experience less than a hour of downtime during the switch.

You will want to place an order for our service on our website and during the ordering process select that you would like to use the ISP change process. You do not want to call your existing ISP to cancel service until after your service is DSL Extreme is up and running and your activation date has past. Using this process is the best way to get your line transitioned to DSL Extreme with the least amount of possible downtime.

Thanks
