I have Xtreme package on my line and I am not getting it with this current modem. I tried a different modem which was a Westell 2200 modem and it went back up to my full speed. I have ran many speed tests on various websites and the top speed I can get is 3.1mbits and that is it nothing over that. I was just curious if there is anything I can do with this modem to increase the speed or if you think it is ready to be replaced? If it needs to be replaced can someone show me the way to a really cheap replacement?

You said that another modem achieves full 6.0 speeds. What did that modem sync at? What does your 2200 sync at? What is the MTU you are using?
