Is Roadrunner mail down?
Can't seem to get it to work. Are the mail servers down in Southern California?

It's been hit or miss for me for the last couple of weeks. Keeps requesting my password, over and over, and over... but sometimes, it appears to be fine. At first I thought my mail program was boinked, but I think they've got a significant system problem. :(

Is this with the former Adelphia mail system or your division specific one?

The former Adelphia mail system is shut down, no hardware remains. Gone, decommissioned, khaput. Has been for several years now.

I realize it isnt Adelphia anymore but didnt TW just rename it? For instance, in a trace route it still shows up:
tracert mail.roadrunner.com
Tracing route to mail.adelphia.net [75.180.132.91]....
The mail server is completely different then say the normal Maine.RR mail server that the rest of the state uses that has been TW for years.

I have no reason to doubt you...but why would the new mail server for former Adelphia customers still have the Adelphia name (mail.adelphia.net), and also why would they still choose to locate in PA where it always was (I think), especially if they started from scratch with it? The other mail server for TW customers of maine that have had TW for years is down in Herndon, VA by the looks of it...if everything was all new, I would have thought it would all be in the same area.
