My Envision LCD monitor is suddenly changing brightness all by itself. The blue "Brightness" menu appears on the monitor and then the brightness bar indicator starts to move down all the way. This all happens without touching any buttons on the front panel. Also, sometimes the buttons do not respond to me actually pressing them.

Possible suspect is the control mechanism (akin to a potentiometer) controlling the backlighting. You need to have it checked out.
