Hi i live in chesterland,oh and have digital cable yet i think I'm being riped off we are still running sara have no navigator we do have start over and not all the channels over 100 are digital but analog copies of the lower channels what gives? yet a friend of mine in mentor,oh has navigator and digital channels and a friend in streetsboro,oh has navigator and digital channels why is our area the only one that gets a few digital channels and the rest analog?

ok i think you can grasp what is going on the rest of my favorites past 100 are like that hit or miss. What i think is going on here is most of the channels past 100 are clones of the basic cable analog setup the more i read up on this technology of cable systems the more informed i am when talking to customer support they usually have no idea of what I'm talking about so i usually get passed off too tier 2or3 support lol Then found this forum so i though what the heck signed up i hope to find better answers here then the cable company

NEO did a channel lineup change a while back that 'grouped' similar channels together. Thats why there are duplicates. Are you in a former Adelphia area, I think these areas are still on sara.

Yes I'm in a former adelphia area dose that mean that were stuck with this format and wont be upgraded?

sorry I'm not sure. I think eventually they will be switched to navigator, I'm in a former adelphia area and stuck with sara as well.

Just had a technician out at the house too replace my old SA 2200 with a new SA 3100 and asked him about navigator the tech said we will get it Monday 9,2009 if the powers that be let them. I have no Faith in this as I've been told so many things by TWCneo I wont believe anything until i see it happen.

Pretty much. There was an upgrade scheduled to be complete in March, but it appears to have been abandoned. Streetsboro was part of the TW Legacy network and has access to much better infrastructure - which allows for Navigator, Internet Speeds that approach what is advertised, etc.

Former Adelphia customers can look forward to further degradation of Internet speeds, Sara and no upgrades. Migration to SDV has allowed for more HD channels, although they are often jumpy and pixelated.

The Internet isn't regulated at all in OH - if a squirrel jumped out of your cable modem and ate your furniture, I don't think there is a govt. agency that would have any jurisdiction over it. Most of NE OH TW has no serious competition - so don't look for any change, other than periodic rate hikes.

Well if that's the deal I guess a 2 year contract with dish or direct tv doesn't sound so bad now will keep my internet as it's fast
