What's the status of powerboost?

Like many other I've restarted my modem many times to no avail. I consistently bench 5.29/1.05 on my 5/1 connection at speedtest.net, exactly the same as before powerboost. At least my connection isn't becoming flaky as others have noticed. All indications suggest that powerboost isn't enabled in my area but I want to be sure.
Is anybody getting successful powerboosting on an old Motorola SB4100 modem? It's DOCSIS 1.1.
Is anybody in Pasadena (91101) seeing powerboost? I saw some posts just south in Alhambra/Monterey Park claiming powerboost was working for them, but more recently not?

Hey there. I'm in the burbank area and see no powerboost on my side of town either. I subscribe to 10/2 and pretty much get that consistently on speedtest.net. I have a motorola SB6120. Hope that helps.

Nothing here. I am on 20/2 and very rarely see anything over 15/2. I have never once gotten 20/2

I never got it either andunn so when they upped the upload of the 10meg tier I downgraded to that. Saves $25 for what I was getting anyway.

Just to follow up. Powerboost seems to be working at my node now. Benched 15/1 on my 5/1 connection at speedtest.net @15:00 PDT. Monitoring bandwidth in a separate program (nload) shows the traffic spike to 20mbps for a bit and then drop off to a steady 5mpbs just as powerboost is supposed to work. Does the same for other bulk transfers, and occasionally spikes over 5 on a webpage.
