Imaging software and SSDs

Is it still ok to use a imaging program like True Image with a SSD? Will it hurt my SSD's lifespan ? I do a lot of imaging. Like to test the latest drivers, software, etc. Sometimes if the drivers are software causes issues, that can not be fixed easily, I go back to a previous image instead. Mine is partitioned so I only have my OS and applications on a smaller partition and my games on a different larger partition. That way when I image it takes less time. Plus if I ever need to reinstall the OS I do not lose all my games.

Sorry wasn't sure where would be the best location to put this topic. This it is mainly about Imaging software I decided to just put it here. Feel free to move it.

No, imaging would not hurt your ssd drive at least anymore then it would hurt a regular drive. Dont forget your ssd drive has a much longer lifespan then regular hard drives so I wouldn't worry about it unless you plan on keeping the drive for 30 years ;). Relax and image away.

Oh on a side note the only thing you should stop using is defrag software mainly because it doesnt benefit ssd drives in ANWAY and would just put unnecessary reads and writes on the drive.
