My DSL went dead around 11 AM.

I net chat with the rep and he put in my number and his computer say this:

Attention Outage Check TN Involved in an Outage. Outage Start Time = 11/04/2009 at 07:54 Projected Outage End Time= 11/05/2009 at 07:54

So internet will be down for the whole day ??? Unbelieveable.

I am in the south Atlanta area. Is this happening to you today?

Luckly I got something called "what is tethering".

When I had Bellsouth and our Internet went down, it was very common for them to tell us the ETR was 6-7PM that night. Usually it would be restored way before that, but they'd give us that ETR in order to give them additional time.

It was up in less than 1 hour. I hope it stays that way.

I need to get 6 mbps. 11 miles south of Atlanta and cant even get it.
