[iO] SA8300HD HDMI Switch box issues?

I just got a 3 port HDMI auto switch box so I can hook up my Xbox360, PS3, along with my cable box with HDMI to my TV, which only has one HDMI port.

Anyways, when I have the cable box connected to the switchbox, I'm constantly losing my picture for any where from 30-60 seconds, but yet I can see the iO UI with no problems. I still hear what ever is on TV also, but no picture. I get an occasional warning from the cable box saying HDMI is blocked. Normally shutting the cable box off or the TV fixes that issue. I've had this box for about 4-5 years. I'm assuming its a handshake HDMI issue with the switchbox.

The switch box seems to work fine with the Xbox360 connected with it, but I need to do some more testing with it.

why not connect the cablebox via component?

The cablebox worked fine with HDMI before I used the HDMI switchbox..I was trying to avoid swapping between different inputs like I've been doing for the Xbox

Anyone have any suggestions for a Switch box then? I'm trying another from monoprice that isn't auto switching...

Which monoprice switch did you get? Is it this one?

Looking through the reviews, a few people mentioned problems with SA boxes and HDCP messages..
