[Speed] Not getting 'new' Perf. Plus 16/2 speeds..

1) Tallahassee, FL

2) I received an e-mail saying that "new" speeds are now available in my area. Specifically, I should be moving to the new Performance Plus Speeds (16/2). I have verified that 16/2 is in fact being offered in my area. Tried Power-cycling the modem, as well as restarting it from the modem's config page, but I still am not getting the faster speeds.

3) Is the issue intermittent, constant or does it occur at a specific time of day? - I'm simply not getting the speeds that are supposed to be available in my area. Connectivity is fine.

4) SB5101
Software Version: SB5101-2.7.6.0-GA-00-NOSH
Hardware Version: 1
MI Version: II
GUI Version: 1.0

5) Linksys WRT54GL V1.1 Router

6) No firewall or anti-virus software installed.

If you have an issue with slow or fluctuating speed:

• What HSI Tier you are subscribed to: 16000/2000 (newly added to my area...)

• Post a Tweak Test :
'»/tweakr/block:···a=normal'

• Browser: Firefox 3.5.4

Any ideas as to why I'm not getting the correct download speeds? :(

What config file is loaded into your modem?

I do believe it's this one (the only one listed in my logs):

SW Download INIT - Via Config file d11_m_sb5101_speedtier_c01.cm

From what I've found in searching these forums, isn't the above config file an old one?

That's not the 16/2 config file which B.T.W. is called Blast.

This is what the 16/2 config file should look like:

d11_m_ [******] _speedtierextreme2_c01.cm

* Denotes modem model number.

OK... it was my understanding that Performance Plus is being upgraded to 16/2, correct? I don't see how I can have Blast! because that service isn't even offered in my area. Only performance/performance plus. Strange. At any rate, I'll be contacting Comcast today to figure out what's going on..
