Never understood this nero lite, the full ultimate comes with options in the installer so If I just want a lite version I untick everything I do not want.
Was going to ask if the lite version was from nero but, I see it is, I always thought it was from a 3rd party.

Nero Lite is completely free and does not require a license. However,

This version of Nero 9 contains simply data burning and disc copying features for CDs and DVDs. Additional features and functionality are available with an upgrade to Nero 9 full version.

Do not confuse the current Nero Lite with earlier versions of Nero Micro and Nero Lite. Those were both unsupported third party hacks. Both required a valid Nero license. Both stopped development at version 8.3.13.0.
