Mediacom slips to a loss, missing analysts forecasts. Overall across all products RGU additions was very soft (6,000 gained vs. 68,000 gained last year at this time) and video had a net loss of 12,000 customers. Last quarter video had a net loss of 7,000 customers and last year at this time there was a net gain of 27,000 video customers.

I don't think it was until recent is Mediacom now offering 2 years on their promotions. Is that correct? I remember when it used to be a month, then a few months, 1 year, and now I'm seeing 2 year promotions.

2 year for dish buy back, 1 year for standard promotions and in some cases only 6 months.

I do not believe the commercials I've heard, generally on radio, have mentioned anything about dish buy back. But I could be wrong and missed that part.
