hdd going crazy operating system components want connections

my hdd is crackling all day taskmgr doesnt show anything and
something is using 137 and 139 i have netbios disbled......
virus? computer is draggin azz too....th one on 139 doesnt have a address ok... its my pc cillin and aaw services going...guess they dont like eachother...

see if this app shows better what keeps the ports open

is any of the apps mentioned scanning at the time hdd activity is heightened?

I would think the majority of your hard drive usage would be from the lack of ram and your system needing to use your hard drive for its memory usage needs.

With these memory stats,
Total Physical Memory = 523249K
Commit Charge = 731560K
Peak = 1331452K
that PC is not going to have much time available for doing anything but accessing the pagefile.
