Only when I am actively online, I keep losing DNS, and eventually the internet. Happens every 15-60 minutes. First error in event viewer is:

"Name resolution for the name www.microsoft.com timed out after none of the configured DNS servers responded."

Switched from Auto DNS settings to OOL DNS settings to OpenDNS settings. Same all around.

Started after I upgraded Motherboard software EVGA 680i LT to new Win 7 version (I am running Win 7 64 bit RC), which I then rolled back.

What's the setup? Modem to router to PC(s) or just modem to PC? If multiple PCs, does it just happen on the 1 PC? If it's a router involved, you can bypass it to eliminate it as a potential cause. You can always try checking NIC drivers on the PC to see if they can be upgraded.

Actually it turned out to be an ethernet driver issue. I have a 680i motherboard, and the Win7 64 bit drivers caused the problem. When I reverted back to the Vista 64 bit drivers all is well with the world.
