New office setp

I recently posted about a month ago on my old setup. I purchased a new desk this weekend. Glass at that. I've never been too fond of glass desks but for some reason this one worked for me. An L shape with plenty of room. Decent price and not too bad to put together.

My systems are the same , that didn't change. Still looking to add a new file server to the mix. Not sure if I want to expand on my current Ubuntu Linux file server or just get another NAS. Anyway here it is.

I got it at Office Max/Furniture Max. They are running a great sale on this series right now.

Do you know what Weigh limits are posted about that desk, just wondering what i can put on it. As i like it and might head out to Office Depot / Max to pick one up.

That was one of my concerns also. When I arrived in the store I was shocked at home sturdy it really was. The shorter desk per the instructions/assembly guide says it can hold 200 pounds. The wider piece with the laptop can hold 180. No doubt you will be happy with it. REALLY sturdy!!!!! I even picked up that leather chair in the picture!!!! Regular price 299.00, sale price 199.00!!!! It is very comfy and plush.

Geez...why don't you clean up a little?...all that dust, dirt, grime and grease will kill that equipment! ;)

Sure, I use it as a Linux test box. Nothing outward facing, just all internal to my home network. It's a Ubuntu server with apache 2.0, samba(back ups), FTP, itunes(MT-DAAPD server), ssh, nagios (server monitor). Nothing fancy, just using it to learn a little......
