New desk!
so last night I got a new desk get this a freaking steal $175 off of Craigslist! My old desk as you can see is just a table with little room the new one though is huge.
What I love most about it besides all the work room is the cubby holes and doors to place stuff its much neater and looks great.
Just thought I'd share. Any questions ask!

Looks like Logitech X230 speakers. Love the sound of mine. Some cable management would complete the setup. That desk is nice with all the space. You may want to get the tower off the floor since cat hair can get in. I have 2 cats but one is a long hair so you might not have that problem. What are the specs on the monowall computer?

its a IBM Netvista PC honestly I don't know the specs I bought it from another user here on DSLR. I've had zero problem with cat hair but thanks for the suggestion.

Well I actually had PFSense installed and actually found my null cable or whatever you need once its installed cuz you get no video after install on the IBM Netvista (CF)
But I actually had problems with speed, at the time I had the 50 meg connection from Comcast and was only getting 28 to 30 megs down and so I tried m0n0-wall and it was able to hit my caps.
The one thing of PFSense I want is built in traffic keeping.

I see that you have the Dell XPS 420 as I do. Great Computer, however, I have found the MiniView to be a waste :-(

It can run Windows XP without any issues. The only thing that is lost is the MiniView. You can get the XP drivers on the Dell Community Website.

I actually ran Windows XP Pro on my XPS 420 for a short while. Very Fast Indeed :-)

Interesting, must be a very low powered machine. I have an older gateway Performance 1300 series w/ a P4 @ 1.3GHz, 384MB RDRAM and 2 Linksys Gigabit PCI nics, and on a WAN-LAN test I was getting about 260-270 Mbps. So I know I am ready for the 50/10 when it comes here...

Well the thing was it wasn't the hardware it was the software that was causing the problem. I mena like hte router software or for example I have a firebox X5 the software in that.
Because all the ports are 100mbps why would it madder even I was asking for 50 :)
Anyway I find the super speed nice as first but honestly it gets old after you've downloaded everything you've been "wanting" download than it just becomes normal.
After I dropped it, it took a bit to get used to 16meg again.

I want the 50/10 more for the upload speed than anything. I would be ok on the 22/5 if the upload was actually 10, so a 22/10 would be perfect for me.
