Northern California Speed test not working

Went to check the speed of my dsl line and looks like the Northern California test is not working. »sjc.speedtest.dslextreme.com.
The Southern California one works.

Thanks for the heads up. I will ask our network operations team to take a look. Probably a good opportunity to update to the latest test from BBR at the same time.

We took the opportunity to move to the new speed test from Broadband reports. Unfortunately it took a little while for BBR to get back to us. We heard back last week and put the new place in test. The final step that should be done on Monday is redirecting speedtest.dslextreme.com to the new location. You can get their directly in the meantime by going to:

I like the new test interface from BBR!

George, I still can't get any results for the San Jose site. I keep getting "Connection Problems. Please Try Again." when I try it. The LA one is working just fine for me.

If DSLX is using the same SmugMug servers are other test services, they have been crap for at least 10-days. I have had marginal to no connectivity to sites served north of say San Jose and within California for a fair period of time now. Tonight I have no access to the SmugMug servers at all, but it is THEIR service that is crap right now. It is just happenstance that they also provide speed tests. Kinda ticks me off as I host a few sites on SmugMug.

No, these are hosted on our own servers using the BBR Flash Speed Test.
