AT&T using contractors to set up DSL

I fellow told me the other day that AT&T contracts with him to set up DSL services in customer locations. First of all, is this true? Secondly, if it is, how does one go about participating in this. I have 20 years experience in computer support and am very knowledgable when it comes to networking and DSL, and would be very interested in making a bit of extra money.

Thanks in advance.

I appreciate the info, but that link only appears to show full time opportunities with AT&T.

Just call AT&T and ask to speak to someone in the human resources department.

Re: AT&T using contractors to set up DSL

It's a company that anyone can sign up with and make bids on jobs. I can't remember the name of the company though. I actually thought about signing up with them at one time, but never got around to doing it. At&T, Compaq, and quite a few other companies use them. Our office had a bunch of defective drives on a large number of new Compaq computers and Compaq contracted the job out to someone registered with this company.
