Modem for Powerlink

When you do buy a modem, be sure to get a Motorola SB-5100. Toshiba modems that best buy sells won't hold the block synch. I got an SB-5100 and have not been dropped off line in about a year. I am also getting downloads consistently in the 5-6mb range and uploads of 600k.

with the prem service its advertised up to 4megs. Sometimes you will only see about 3. Depending on people in the area. But as you noticed you will see the 500k+ upload 24/7.
