Glad there'll be two DOCSIS 3.0 providers in those areas

Wonder whether RCN will succeed in not only launching decently fast speed tiers but also pulling down TWC's pricing. If I ahd to pick between the two providers I think I'd go with RCN at 20/5. Though I'm sure 60/10 will be awesome for some folks. Lots better on the upload side than TWC's 50/5, and probably cheaper for biz users.

Forgot the T-Mobile Outage

Some phone companies clearly need to get their SS7 systems in order. I'm sure AT&T aka Cingular has gotten the clue. Build it on shoestring budget, expect it to cascade down around your ears when it finally fails.*

*. Knows nothing about T-Mobile's network, but from the descriptions of the problems encountered, and how google voice still seems to work on their network, it appears to be SS7 related.
